Koury Farms

Koury Farms hosted this fun tropical theme Sweet 16 on Feb 29, 2020 and we got to be part of it!

If you have not heard about Koury farms, Its a beautiful rustic barn venue with white walls and natural lighting inside. The outside is stunning and it wows guests. The venue owners are the sweetest and its located in Auburn GA. ( check out the venue here)

For Xitlaly’s sweet 16, her mom asked us if we knew a great venue they can host their party at, since they had a lot of guests to accommodate. We mentioned Koury farms and had them take a tour. They immediately fell in love with the place.

Xitlaly’s wanted a different floral design style than most of her friends had. She wanted a fun style with fun colors, so we suggested lavenders and mints. She wanted to incorporate her background that included tropical accents so we decided to add tropical leaves to it.

For the tall centerpieces we decided to use ribbon and crepe paper! Yup you heard it right, ribbon and crepe paper as you can see in the images, it added a lot more color rather than having other kinds of traditional centerpieces. We had monstera leaves and Fatsia leaves on our tall harlow stands along the estate table and had small bud vases in the other tables.

 

Decor on tables

For all the tables we use satin lavender rectangular tablecloths, we used paper monstera leaves to match the real montera from the tall centerpieces with dinner plates, mint cupcakes and a mauve satin napkin to add a different color.
